Laser-Cut Business Cards

laser cut business cards
laser cut still wraps nicely

I’ve really been saturating the blog with ear-bud wrap posts lately. This should be the last one for a while. I decided to order some laser-cut copies of the earbud-wrap business card. They were a bit expensive, but I’ve been wanting to laser-cut something for some time. I went with 2-color acrylic, and I think they turned out really well.

  1. Great project! Where did you get these made? How much did it cost? Thanks for sharing!

thanks Philippe, I got them cut at pololu.com. they were pretty expensive at ~$4 apiece shipped. definitely not viable as a real business card at that price. If I wind up wanting to make more of these I’ll probably wait until I have personal access to a laser cutter.

I think it would be affordable if you bought raw material and had a laser or used that laser at your local hackspace.

You could also do these on a CNC Mill. Not really crazy quantities but that might be the cheapo way to do this.
